I just realized I have not done a good job posting updates on Libby for the past week and a half. Great news, Libby got to go home exactly one week ago and it sounds like all is going well, yay for the Gupta Family! Here is an update from Nijay from yesterday...
Quick Update: Libby had a doctor's visit today (scheduled) and we came to know that her neutrophil count was in the "normal range" (~2000). When we first got admitted to CHOP she had a count of zero. When she was released, her count was in the 200s and she was considered neutropenic (i.e., dangerously vulnerable immune system). The fact that the count has recovered so rapidly means she is progressing in her treatment in exactly the way the doctors have planned and hoped.
